Society for Acute Medicine 2021 Spring Meeting, SAMBristol, 24-25 March 2022
The Society for Acute Medicine is delighted to be hosting its Spring meeting in 2022 at the Bristol Marriott City Centre Hotel on 24-25 March 2022. The conference will be a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual attendance available. Many have missed the networking, social interaction & opportunity to collaborate with like minded colleagues in acute medicine so this is your chance to 'get back in the room.' We have all missed the chats that happen in the coffee breaks, queues and with speakers after their talks. That's what adds huge value - not to mention a great SAM atmosphere and the conference dinner. The Spring meeting package offers 2-day conference attendance, accommodation at the conference hotel and the conference dinner.
You can also attend virtually (online) as for some we recognise this works better.
The programme is full of excellent speakers and topics that will make the conference a great success. Our independent programme continues to be based on the most recent research and development in acute medicine.
In-person delegates can also access the virtual platform thereby ensuring they can watch any sessions they miss at the live event. Sessions will be available to all delegates (in-person and virtual) for 3 months following the event.
Nurses/ACPs/ANPs qualify for the 3 for 2 offer - pay for only 2 places for 3 people to attend. Contact email@example.com
12 CPD Points have been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (Activity Code: 138546)
Abstract Submissions are invited from all members of the multi professional team. SAM are inviting authors to submit an abstract for display in the online ePoster showcase and as mini paper posters (with barcode scanning to the ePoster) & some touch screen digital posters being on display in the conference venue. Successful authors will be invited to display an electronic poster at the conference on our virtual platform. The ePoster showcase will be live for 3 months after the conference dates to extend the life and reach of your poster.
SAM is also offering successful authors who come to the conference the opportunity to deliver a 2 minute 'elevator pitch' on your ePoster to an informal group within the conference breaks. These informal sessions will be facilitated by a SAM Council Member & your pitch will be followed by Q&A. These discussion sessions will allow you dedicated time to present your findings whilst receiving invaluable feedback from your peers in an intellectually challenging but welcoming atmosphere.
Abstract Submission closed: 30 January 2022
